I'm getting tempted to buy some Ikea folding chairs, the sort you'd use in the house or when you're sitting exams. I find all the folding camping chairs make you sit with terrible posture...

Cant suggest a good chair as we are looking for the same thing ourselves. The only thing I can offer though is dont go for the Outwell chairs with the zip on leg rest extensions. They are around the £50 each mark, we have now taken ours back as both the chairs broke in one weekend and in the same place when the leg rest was used. The plastic knuckle joint on the front leg snaps. When we took them back to Cotswold Outdoors the guy said "Oh no not another one" about sums it up I would say !!

I've just bought this one from the Wokingham camping exhibition and paid £25.45 for it. It's very good quality, good padding with a high back to rest your head. It reclines to 3 different positions too. Hope you find what you're looking for

I like that one tentaloon. Keeping it on watch to show OH when he gets in

I tried out the ones in Woofers post but I found the first one too upright and solid iykwim and I didn't think the second one was much better than the ones we have already.

We have a moon chair but it takes up too much room when packed and also some other super-dooper thing which also packs too large - but both good for the garden.

we've got the Paso Doblo Dukdalf Chairs with extensions for trips of a week or more, for weekends and when pressed for space we take two of the usual folding camping chairs.

So much choice!  This is why I've been struggling!!  I think the only reason we've stuck with our current ones for so long is bacause I don't know what else to get.  I quite fancy the Royal Commander chairs, although I do admit to being a bit obsessed with outwell, so might end up with those instead.

We'r off to the Isle of Wight next Friday, so need to make some decisions!

Expensive but so comfortable and easy to pack due being almost flat and very light. Took some serious coin though so i'm skint now.
