A word of warning to those thinking of getting UFOs: not all UFOs are equal. I've bought three different types over the last year or so and the ASDA one (I believe that they are the same in Wilkinsons) may not be the prettiest or the latest in fashionable design, but they the brightest n that price range.

I've just bought a light from Ikea that I think is fab.

It looks like a tall plastic drinking beaker with a top and a little handle 3 AAA batteries and it gives off a subtle light £1.29 too! I can't find it on the website product no. is 301.482.79

My Poundland UFO lights are great, they aren't as good quality as the £5 one I got from Aldi but just as bright.
