For my 1 year old I just use a bog standard sleeping bag zipped up, then I fold it in half (top down to the bottom if you catch my drift) It doubles up the warmth and reduces the size perfectly.

We use ready beds for my 5 yr and 2,5 yr olds. The coverings are rather thin but we used a sleeping bag inside and a fleecy blanket on top of it all....they were toasty.

we were in camperlands yesterday and saw a toddler bed--its basically a shallow inflatable dinghy to stop little ones from falling out of bed.

My 2 yr old sleeps in a Gelert Junior sleeping bag, very cosy, mummy style and has a Kampa junior airbed (with the sides to stop him falling out).

He sleeps really well with these and if its cold, we just put blankets over the sleeping bag and he sleeps better than at home under duvets etc.
