After your first posting I reserved online and picked up last Friday for £99. Works very well on our home ariel on analogue and with the built in freeview player also good as a DVD player.
I was surprised to find that it is a actually a 12volt TV being powered by a 12v transformer which is included. I do have a 240v inverter connected to the leisure battery for use when not on a mains supply but would be interested to hear from anyone who knows if this TV would be ok to connect direct to the 12v system powered from the leisure battery as this would use less power than connecting through the battery-inverter-transformer.
A search for advice on 12 volt TV's on this site has revealed that LCD televisions are sensitive to over voltage and should not be connected direct to the leisure battery without a stabliser as damage could invalidate the warranty.
I think therefore I will only run of the TV from the supplied transformer to avoid any possible damage.
