Please let me know how you get on with your b&q bbq . I had one of these for many years ,and it was great , and I recommended them to anyone who asked about it .
I had to buy a new one last year , but it just didnt seem to be as good as the old one although it was identical.
It would sometimes twist out of shape with the heat while the coals were burning , meaning you couldnt get the grill to sit on it properly, although it would eventually revert back into the proper shape .
strangely we found that this would only happen with bags of self lighting charcoal, it didnt happen with regular charcoal.
We got rid of it at the end of the summer, so on the lookout for a replacement .
David, I did the same as you today as the B&Q one is now £20.96! £9 off.
The one I linked costs £47.49 including p&p, that's nearly £27 saved for charcoal. Mind you I think it's better quality.

The B & Q BBQ is also larger than the one in your link, and although there are only three of us, but big eaters (), I think we will stick with it now for this season, al least.

Oh, I do hope ours is OK, we use it a lot when we're away. I also love the bags of self lighting charcoal. You've just reminded me, I must go and search some out for our visit th Conkers.
It is worth looking at the BBQ in Agent 8's link above. The trouble is, it's ebay, and may not be there for long - smaller than the B & Q one, but a more compact system for the legs.

..... just had another quick look. Only one day left - no sign of a company name for future contact.
I couldn't make do with a smaller one ,my lot don't like being kept waiting for their food . lol . the B&Q one was just right . I may just go and get another one while they're the same price as last years , and hang on to the receipt. If this one goes out of shape I will return it .

We have now used it and had no problems with it going misshaped this time. used the 2 bags of self lighting as usual .
maybe they were just faulty ones last year , my BIL 's was the same.
Likewise Debbie - all seems OK. I just haven't found the right place to stow it in the caravan yet. It won't fit where our previous BBQ went.
I have one of the greenfingers ones mentioned earlier. It fits perfectly on the kitchen stand, to give you an idea of size. It worked well for us last year as we don't bbq that much, and folds very small, but will probably be too small for most of you. Stood up well though, didn't buckle or anything, you just have to be careful if there is a windshield on your kitchen stand that you don't scorch it.

The pen is mightier than the sword - but only if the sword is very small and the pen is very sharp...
We looked at that ebay one as well, but ended up going for the b&q one. Main reason was the ebay one was too low. We got the b&q for £20 so much cheaper as well
This B&Q bbq was tested by some celeb chef in the mail last week and he gave it best practicality and value for money out of all that were tested. mine is on its 8th year this year. A bit black on the inside now, but the food tastes great...I clean the grill but the rest of it gets a rub down once a year at truck fest..
