Hiya, it`s worth the bit extra if it lasts longer isn`t it,apparently it can last 7 days after opening as opposed to 3 for most other milk,something to do with the extra filtering.(so I have been informed anyway !!)
Yes, we think so. Not sure it lasts 7 days longer when camping although I've never really measured it. We have had it go off but can't remember how old it was. But worth the extra. Bob
To keep the cost down on a short trip put the milk in a flask, when used rinse with cold water to chill and re fill with milk as soon as you buy it.
Then when you get serious a 3 way fridge.
We use the flask a lot for quick trips and picnics, saves getting the fridge out.

i can recommend the little carton-cup or sachet's of milk that you find in service stations, they are small, so easy to pack instead of a carton and freeze easily and will slowly defrost, keep a few un-frozen to get you started then by the time you've used those the frozen ones will be defrosted! and they seem to last longer...... job done!
