we put a cheep duvet on top of air bed then a fitted sheet, the trouble and strife then gets in her single sleeping bag complete with thermals and hooded top whilst i just wear me trollies and we both share a king size duvet and she still complains of being cold.

On top of the airbed is most important. Even if you're using a quality sleeping bag, some of the heat from your body will escape through the bottom, and when this heat hits the cold airbed it will cause condensation, so the underside of your sleeping bag will feel damp.

We use picnic rugs on the inner tent floor (or a fur rug early & late season), then a fleece blanket & a sheepskin matress cover on top of the airbed - no damp & warm as toast

if you have the space to carry it a memory foam mattress topper is great on top of the airbed.

If space is an issue I just give my sim a sleeping bag of its own (a cheapo unused Regatta bag bought at a boot sale for £3.00) turned inside out. I then sleep on top of that. A carpet in the bedroom helps as well of course.

Armchair camper with more tents than I will probably ever get the use out of.
