I have to say we have never been cold in bed. I bought some foam mats to use at easter but must say never noticed a difference and didnt take them last time we went to see if we'd notice, we didnt.
We use air beds and a sleeping bag, thats it. We take a fleece blanket just in case son gets cold but tend not to use it.
Our sleeping bags are square ones that feel like duvets, towsure own brand.
we keep our tent air vents open all the time and have no heating inside the tent...we simply rely on piling on the layers in the evenings if it starts to feel cold and have extra blankets for the sleeping pods should we need them...
