we use a nappy bucket (they have lids) from mothercare for less than a tenner - and add a little zoflora in - loads cheaper than a portable loo and dead easy to clean!

as for lighting - the little round UFO led lights are amazingly good and incredibly small!! asda do them for a couple of quid and poundland sell them too.

you can pick up some good bargains this time of year - good luck!

before our tin tent came along we had a canvas one, we found one of these  a Campingaz Powerbox Classic Electric Coolbox - 24 Litrereal advantage, for keeping the beer cold , oh and the marg' & bacon etc, with you having young one's you may need one of the larger models, oh you'll need the adapter too , don't forget a good tin-opener ,worth their weight in gold they are, specially when the ring pull on your tinney breaks off

Oh and GoOutdoors have electric hooks ups in at the moment for £29.99 if you get their discount card - bargain!!

Or you may be lucky and find 1 in Aldi for £29.99 with 3 year guarantee (sunncamp brand as well).

When there's a knock at the door, why do dogs always think its for them?

To all of you - thank you soo much!!

Rather than panic buying half of Go Outdoors - i'm now able to go away and buy a little more wisely.

You're a great bunch of people.

If you spot a brand new Kalahari 8 tent, with 2 hyper kids and a knackered looking Dad - on a camp-site near you - call round for a beer!!! ;-))

Cheers, Chris.
