MmmmmmmmmH - I think that is a bit below the belt and not called for! Yes we do know how to use a claw hammer including several long standing other campers who came over to have a go too! In 30 years of camping using a claw hammer to lever out rock pegs in the direction they went in, along with a heavy duty screw driver as extra leverage, we have never come across the state of the ground we faced in Norfolk after months of no rain. By the way my OH uses a claw hammer for trade purposes. But I guess until you come across a similar situation you may not believe it possible.... We weren't the only ones at the site that faced the same challenges. The reception was loaning out heavy duty tools to many people the weekend we de-pitched...
