Have just got one of those micro towels for Xmas present from Millets. Suppose I had better try it - like the look of the ones on QVC and cheaper. Had a cheap one in the past but couldn't get dry properly and ended up using a normal towel. Perhaps the one from Millets or QVC will be better quality.
Hi Everyone, Finally had a go with the towel from Millets - cost I think about £24 (for extra large). Quite good actually - better than the cheaper one I bought a while ago. Husband doesn't like it and prefers the ordinary towels but will still take away on hols as it will dry quickly. Anyone used the ones from QVC yet? Had a look at the website and they looked quite good. Thanks SonjaH
I recommend them, ive got these type of towles - they dry you great in a quick flash! they feel a bit unusual though. I think they came from the 50+ website.
I've just had a look at the QVC towels. They're a good price - I bought two (bath towel and hand towel) from them a while ago and paid about £15-odd plus postage for those. Think I might get these as well.
Got carried away reading this thread the other day and ordered 3 bath towels from QVC. They arrived yesterday and I've just road tested them - lovely. Not much different to a normal towel except they feel a bit strange - but they did the job no problem. Will probably buy some more now and keep them for the camper.
We've used microfibre towels for years and love them. They feel a bit odd when you use them (they don't slide over your skin in the same way as a normal towel), but they work really well, pack really small and dry in no time.
We bought the Lifesystems ones (fairly expensive for a towel, but not so much choice a few years ago), but they are still going strong.
