If I possess your skills and determination, I might have done the same as you.
However, I can't even fix a clothes rack that has become detached from the wall at present, it is best that I don't attempt building my own trailer!

Congratulations DK that looks like a great trailer. I love having a trailer as we just store all the camping stuff in it all the time. Don't know where we would keep it all if we couldn't do that lol.
I had a big sort out of our trailer last weekend and only put the items back in that me, hubby and dog need as our 2 teenagers aren't going to be with us on the next trip. Got a bit of extra space now that I might need to fill!! Still haven't made the carpet for the Escala yet as needed to rethink the backing so waiting for some material to arrive. I guess that will fill up quite a lot of the space
Let us know how you get on using the trailer for your trip in June
Hopefully, I'll have some Peggy Pegs to try out too, to see if they would help in reducing the strains on my arms.
Good luck with carpet making!

Are they the ones you use with a drill? That might make it easier for your poor arms. I don't envy you having to do all those guyropes on your own after getting the frames up. I would be aching for a week.
Indeed they are the ones driven into the ground using a drill.
Got a drill already, so just need some pegs and the drill bit for them.
I usually sleep poorly on the first night due to pain in my arms.
For my last trip, I cheated and took a large dose of Ibuprofen before going to bed, and slept soundly.
I don't like taking medications unnecessarily, and shall try out Peggy Pegs to see if they make a difference in reducing pitching time and effort.

Picked up my trailer today, and I am very pleased with it.
The drive home from All Fit Trailer Centre at Lichfield was a breeze, and I hardly noticed the trailer behind me, except when I looked in the rear view mirror.
The 1150s is narrower than my MINI, which means I do not need to use additional wing mirrors in order to get a clear view behind me.
Glad I went for the extension sides, as I would struggle to pack everything into the trailer without them.
I still have a bit of room left for the bedding, and shall add them the night before my next trip.
I had to clear sufficient space in the garage for it as I do not wish to have it on view on the drive.
One thing I did not check was the height of my garage door opening! Luckily, there is about 5cm clearance, phew!!!
I have not taken any pics yet, as it was quite an effort loading it and then pushing it into the garage. I shall do so later next week.
All in all, very pleased with the trailer, and many thanks to All Fit Trailer Centre for your patience and help, which is much appreciated.

Nah, a Raclet Solena trailer tent or similar in a few years first before a tin tent!

At work, all parked up and facing the right direction. I did not reverse it as advised by those in the know, and unhooked it first, pushed it into place, then reversed the car in front of it, before hooking it up again.
Towing it fully loaded to work was a breeze, however, my car did not like being driven like a granny as I was much slower with acceleration and gear change!
I love my trailer!
