I invested in a Bestway Queensize raised bed... and I must say its fab 
Im on the larger side too and this was one of the reasons I went for this bed.... if I remember correctly the weight limit is something like 60st!! so definately suitable for a couple on the heavier side.... i have the bed to myself though as me and the little one have a girls wing and the other half sleeps in the boys side 
I bought mine on Ebay ... bargain price of £20 as the box was slightly damaged though I have looked for another for the other half and they tend to go for around £50.
