Quilly
I was going to suggest bulldog clips they come in many different sizes
------------- April Peak District Beech Croft Farm
May Peak District Duke of York
May Holland Delfse Hout
June Cotton Arms Nantwich
july/aug Cornwall Pentewan Sands
And quite a few local weekenders
If it's being clipped outside, then I would've thought that something plastic, similar to those "spring clamps"( in post 2), would be preferable to something metal..
The last thing you want is to risk a row of umpteen rust marks on your tent..

Not fairy lights but the thick insulated rope lights so clothes pegs won't work.....not sure where to cable tie them to. Velcro may be an aption but not sure it would hold the weight or adhere to zip seam along airbeam as that's where I want them.
Aren't these lot orrible , I picked up some faithful tarp clips x 4 for around £4 inc of delivery, you might just have to lurk around ebay to get "tarp eyelets" or just pay the £6.90 for the clingons.
Now I am as daft as you and have wasted my clips by tying some fine bungee cord through the eyelets and fed my rope light through, I attached them to the pelmet running along the bedroom pods entrance. It looks very neat and tidy, no sagging, no falling down etc.
