Merlot idea best yet! We did try the talc with very positive results. It reduced the noise by at least 75% so really pleased. It did however make a bit of a mess of the inner tent and make it smell like a baby's changing mat but it was well worth it for the peaceful night's sleep we got.

We had the same issue. Genius idea with the Talc! Just got back from 3 nights camping with NO squeaking 😁
