We got the bulb shaped lights last year and the cooking cupboard. We also have a cupboard we use for clothes from a couple of years back. I got a ladybird head torch teehee! We've also picked up one of the tents to erect and check out, we need a stopgap after our tent died after 8 years, but we're thinking of moving onto a folding camper, so don't want to invest money in a tent we might not use after this year. Will let you know how it looks when we have a moment to pitch it!
Got myself a fab holdall bag on wheels for 15 quid and it looks great too.
A few years back I got a 12/240v cool box and its been well used still works perfect, they are in there too and still the same price I paid £39.99
------------- its our imperfections that makes us perfect
Just returned from my local aldi with a folding firepit, was tempted to buy the coolbox, but as we don't use ehu couldn't justify the outlay.
I can vouch for them tho, borrowed a mates last year while staying in a pod and it was excellent, apparently he's owned it for a few years without issues! As it comes with both sockets it's a bargain at that price!!
We've had the cool box a couple of years and it works great for us UK camping too. Last time camping took frozen chicken which was still frozen in the middle 2 days later! I bought the light bulb lights, great for nightlights for the kids
I made the mistake of going to Aldi with the wife today.
I forked out for a chiminea for the garden, a folding hammock, a pump for going non ehu and a twin burner stove.
All good except for the stove. I already have two twin burners. Turns out she doesn't like the meths one cod it smells. The primus is too expensive to run and the aldi stove has a Grill.
The regulator, hose and propane tank will also come out of my wallet. Sigh!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
