I would go with the Decathlon roll-out mat that has a foil backing. They do two thicknesses, kids will be very comfy and warm on the thicker ones ( especially as they have the underneath of the sleeping bag to lie on too) Warm, light, cheap, easy to roll up. Kids don't weigh enough to need loads of padding under them.
My sister and I bounced on a camping airbed but we learnt our lesson as, in the 70s, you couldn't just buy another and only from camping suppliers, so when it eventually deflated we were on the bumpy floor with only thick sleeping bags

The sims are good but dont rule out a cheap dual purpose inflatable dingy..Yes the RM's amongst us will like that too. Keeps the kids amused and they dont roll out at night. Good for ages up to about 10 I guess. just a thought as they can play pirates or RM's in the daytime

Different tack - maybe they're not tired enough when it comes to bedtime? There are a lot of happy similarities between children & dogs - the need to run around to burn off energy, the need for love and fair boundary-setting, the stealing of chocolate..... Yes we have a dog, who's a pain at night if she's not had enough exercise. Maybe if youngsters have helped put up the tent, fetched the fresh water, gone to the play area if there was one, or for a walk or cycle around the site with new friends, they'll be ready to crash out, not crash about, when it was time for bed. As we're mentioning parents, my dad camped as a Boy Scout pre-war.
