Last year we bought 2 Outwell conqueror pillows. They are self inflating but also covered in memory foam. They pack down pretty small, and although are slightly smaller than a normal pillow, not ridiculously so, and we both found them really comfy. They also have a fleecey type material on one side and a smoother on the other, so you can choose between being warm and cosy or cool as a cucumber. You can choose how much you inflate them to get them just right. Perfect for us.

hiya , we just take the ones from home and i squish em up under seats or little legs that dont need the footwell .

we do have some vac pac bags to try because i discovered that our pump will also deflate so im going to try those next time .
