Good post but ohhhhh dear..... I've realised I've replaced, upgraded and generally changed our stuff several times over. Some has been changed for improved models for comfort or stability, and some just because... it looked pretty, I preferred it, reaaaaallllly needed it, or suffered campsite envy and dissatisfaction.
I think a bucket has stayed the same!

Slightly off topic, I still use the rucksack I had when I was in the scouts.
Although sadly not used for camping anymore I do use it for fishing.
52 years old and still as good as new.
