I'm a 3 way fridge person as we don't camp with EHU but for those that do I noticed in our local Tesco yesterday that they were selling Waeco Mobicools (didn't notice which model but I'm guessing W40) for £60 - might go back and see if it would work at home for a gin cooler

Yep the Tesco Mobicool units are the thermoelectric models, there is not a carrot of a chance, of finding a Mobicool compressor model like the FR35 or FR40 in store.

Our Mobicool C40 uses the same carcas as the 3 Way units, in fact the grill even has the cut out for the exhaust.

To my mind a 3 Way unit is jack of all trades but master of none.
