I did actually buy a couple last year but made the rather big mistake of taking a leccy pump to France rather than the mahoosive big red double-volume pump I felt compelled to buy from Decathlon, then found we couldn't pump them up. So, they had a nice little trip all over le belle France, still in their bags, then went to another home where they'd be better appreciated, since we found we didn't actually mind sleeping with our SIMs direct on the floor!
I do agree with posters who claim they provide a good steady raised sleeping surface. I still have my reservations about the slats (which look a bit weedy to me and a bit too wide-apart to inspire absolute confidence). I do agree with Mucker that they're more of a hidey-hole for stuff you don't want to look at or access for the duration of your hols, rather than ideal underbed storage.
Well, as of an hour ago, we'll now be lobbing our SIMs directly on the floor tomorrow night... and Sat night... and Sunday night... and I don't even care about the all day rain for Saturday!
Feelin' chilled again, already, so no more tutting from me, this weekend!

Here's wishing you a tut-free break, Mucker! Going anywhere nice?

Haven't you got your thermals on?
Not yet, no!
But looking at the forecasted temp drop for Saturday night, I might well have them on then. Looks like being a low of 1c... and that after a day of rain!

Cheers Lidds.
Second visit to Cartref, Nr Shrewsbury, so yes for the site, and yes for the town!
Yep, we've used one for the last 5 years or so. Ours is by intex. First one got a puncture but had that replaced and the 2nd has been a great help (and space saver).
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
