Never had a prob with them, not much use in cold weather also, IF your looking to buy one now some of them have two uprights nearest the gas side to stop you putting larger pans / big frying pans on them. Why they never did that years ago I'll never no. just treat them with respect and there handy. I just check the can is seated each time it's used
