Your link is to a Cadac regulator with screw on hose end. You wouldn’t need to buy that just screw the existing regulator back on. If you want quick release between the two then get another Cadac nipple cut screw end off your existing regulator hose. Fit nipple with jubilee clip.

Hi Creaky, the fitting came from Huddersfield. Did your Q come with a short flexipipe? Mine did, I've cut that, fitted a snap fit ( also from Huddersfield ) to it plus an a longer gas hose to the 6kg cylinder which has a regulator. Works ok. I used a snap because I use the Q with my caravan using its gas supply and use it at home as well where I have another 6kg cylinder.

Yes, there is a short length of pipe that comes out of the bottom of the bbq and ends in a fitting that I screw the small gas canisters onto. You can see it at around 1:40 on this video
