We use 2 ply bog roll as it breaks down just as well as the expensive Thetford stuff, avoid 3 and 4 padded ones though, nice and soft on your bits but it won't be great when trying to empty the cassette.

Bag (budget nappy sacks as used by the dog) & bin. That dedicated paper is as much use as a chocolate fireguard: you need twice as much.

I started to use Elsan organic when I went to Ponden Mill, they only allow natural products to avoid killing the good bugs in the septic tank.
I continued to use it as it smells a lot nicer than the other stuff, less of a chemical smell
