i didn't htink of a brush untill i needed it lol so i used the tea towel on my hands and knees to sweep with which kind of did the trick i even washed the ground sheets down with the washing up sponge b4 i binned it
luckily we had sun while i was packing away so everything dried nicely
Yep - dust pan and brush - occasional sweep out and removing leaves/ grass/ dirt from groundsheets etc.
Also take a dark old towel to be used for removing mud - or as a srot of doort mat to dry feet as they come into tent if it's wet and muddy - saves this being then trailed into inners.
The other point of course is not to walk the crud into the tent in the first place - in our big tent with fully sewn in SIG it's no shoes inside the tent at all - just onto the matting in the entrance. The VV500 has a separate porch sheet so it's OK to have shoes on that but not in the sleeping pod. If you can keep the crud out you don't have to clean it up!!

Housework? I just thought it wouldn't be a good idea to pack up with damp grass all over the place?? Or am I wrong??!
Not a good idea to pack it up damp anyway, if you can avoid it.
If the tent is still wet, then fold up so that the wet dirty ground sheet is folded in on itself so it cant dirty the tent. Cleaning the grass off is heaps easier when its drying.
I use one of Katys toy dustpan and brush sets, its so small it fits in anywhere. BTW Hippy, just coz I sweep the grass out of the tent now and then doesn't mean I do it at home too. I share your motto!!!!!!
Ah, haaaa, another convert!!!!! Oddly enough, and only bewteen you and I missElaineous, (get closer to the screen so I can whisper...), I don't actually mind the very odd bit of tidying round in the caravan, BUT not in me brick built house -oooh, what a thought But we'll keep this strictly between ourselves won't we????
