I have had problems with the GPS on the n35 (sorted after new main board fitted) but also the car charger damaging the PDA connection while bashing against the dashboard which they did not fix!!.
As said I too like Acer stuff so bought this but not happy...yet

Me too, and I've never been lost yet. Have occasionally taken the alternative route, or gone a bit further to have a look at the surrounding area
Never need to stop and ask directions either, and if the wife has insisted on doing so, then I've only been directed in the way I was going to go anyway

If your lucky and get in quick then Halfords are selling their ex demo Navman 650 for £299.99 which is an exceptional price for a Pan-European nav system. The normal price for a non ex demo on is £499.99.
The only thing is you might have to ask for you name to be put by for the unit as they will only sell that one when they have sold their "existing stock"

We have a mio pda (?) with european maps & we have just come back from Spain. we used it both ways & it took us from our front door to my mates in Torrevieja & back without using a map!! Fantastic bit of kit.
been thinking of a sat nav for a while so many to chose from all saying there the best around!!!!! So in the end took some advise from a mate and bought a dell axim x30 PDA and a 5.1 tomtom its great best of everything sat nav when we need it. Music via mp3 WMA and a way of geeting on line when away from home so it was worth the £300 we spent on the bundle in our opinion of course.
