When I thread turns out like this it makes me realise I am not alone

Seriously, I've nearly burnt myself a couple of times, when unthinking Ive used a melamine cup to heat milk, or a plate to heat something.

I've not had a problem with melamine bowls warping in the dishwasher but must admit I've never put plates in.
