I have had my Pic for three years, I think I would only change it for another one, as they are so versatile.
As for towing just bought an older Swift chalenger and it seems to pull this no problem MTPLM 1150kg But got to admit have only pulled it about 20-30 miles.
as long as you keep within the recomended 85% you will be OK. Pulling power plent of it, but as said in an earlier post not the fastest car, but then you don't want to be flying with some thing draging behind you
We are on our second picasso now and I wouldn't have it any other way. Alright you have to put up with comments about them being an old persons car, or that you can't tell front from back and other comments but who cares, don't like anyone elses car as much as I like ours but then the roads would be boring if we all liked the same cars wouldn't they?
We've only mainly towed a trailer so far apart from once trying out a mates caravan and it was fine. There is loads of choice in caravans that you can pull with a picasso .
Hi in reply to john&lynn- no I did not mean the yellow nut cap for the wheels-it is for the spare wheel. When given it I asked what was it for and he said it was only for the spare. Cheers G
sarahjaques2002, I noticed looking at the Picture, you had the same problem I have just discovered I had this weekend, Two black streaks up the front of the TT, Got to get me some Mud flaps. or I'll be forever washing the Caravan.
Our Picasso was an old version 1.6 petrol and we towed a packed trailer back and forth to France on hols with bikes on top of trailer and roof box on the car - no problemo.
C8 2.0 diesel was pants. New Kia Sorento is like heaven.
As a legacy of my Pic days I have a full set of fully reconditioned Picasso Alloys if anyone is interested. Got then blasted, painted and oven baked just before trading in the car for a C8. Never been used since they came back from being done. No wheel nuts though
