I have to inflate mine every time I use it , however I dont roll mine but fold it. This has never stopped me having a comfy nights sleep though, even in a muddy hole in wales.

Also have one of the alpkit led head lamps which I sadly managed to break but its still workable

Polar69, what piece did you break? get in touch we may have a spare bit laying around, shame to let it go unused.

Have been reading your comments about Airics and wonder if they could be the answer to our problem. We have a Combi Camp trailer tent. The OH suffers with a bad back and finds the foam mattress uncomfortable, so we have to use an inflatable mattress (which I hate). Would an Airic be a suitable substitute for the inflatable mattress? Would appreciate your comments.

Ta, Lin

Fat Airic ..........love the name

Hi ya Lin

We use our two fat arics under the foam mattress in our fc.

Works great for us

Thanks, Estwig. Think I'll get two and give them a try. Anything has got to be  better than the inflatable mattress. If it doesnt work I will leave hubby at  home and take Fat Airic camping instead

The fat airic's are quite long so it may be best to check dimensions to ensure they fit in your camper.

Alpkid it was the loop that holds that vertical strap onto the base of the torch itself, I got it hooked up on something in my daysac and stupidly pulled on it till it came loose :(
