Went into my local Lidl today and couldnt believe it, as I walked up to where the ovens were stacked the guy in front of me picked up the last one....arghhh.

Asked in store and that was their last one and no idea when next lot are due in.

welshwyn i went to lidl at pitsea at 12.30 and got mine. They still had loads there.

I am trying mine out now. chips!!!!!! will let you all know what they are like.

I went at 12.30 and they still had 6 left here.  I got a silver one.  We have tried it out and it works fine.   OH is well pleased, we did discuss it last week,  but as I had not reminded him I was going to get one he was of course totally amazed!!!!

Anyway, it seems to work fine and he is pleased we will be saving gas.  It is quite lightweight as I could lift it easily.

chips were lovely. i thought it might take a bit longer to cook them but was the same as my 'proper' oven.

We too have the Hinari. It's one of the best of our camping buys.

Just bought one on Monday and tested it today.  It seems very good although I only tested it getting hot.  I didn't cook anything in it (didn't want it to get dirty!!)
