Is this the right Roasting Pan ? I've got a Carri Chef? Its the cheapest i've found at £12.70, but seems a bit too cheap!
That price is exclusive of vat, it's priced similar to here
The stand is also shown on my link, not sure whether is it supposed to be included or not.
I think the pot stand is supposed to be included, i've already got one anyway if it isn't!
We already had a big non stick paella pan so we use that. It fits perfectly on the roasting dish holder. It's great for stir fries and general fry ups where you don't want stuff falling off the edge of the smooth grill plate such as frozen herby sauteed potatoes from French supermarkets ! Lovely !

The roasting pan looks like the one - hopefully it will come with the holder !? We have roasted a joint of beef - but we had it on too high and it got a bit crispy ! The next time we kept it on low and it was fine ! We also do a ham joint now and again - lovely ham sandwiches the following day ! Mmmm yummy - might have to do one this weekend now !
The wire roasting dish holder is different to the wire pan holder that comes with the Carri/Eazi chef. It allows the roasting dish to sit lower. Not sure if this matters......
When I ordered it I didn't know it came with a holder until I got it - so it's never mentioned so you should be ok.
I think we cook all meat for about an hour and a half on low and spuds an hour round the outside of the meat with oil and basting ! Not too precise !!! Don't forget the water in the moat of the fat tray. The Cadac needs to be level too.
Just chuck 'em in ! They turn out fab ! The main problem is fighting the temptation to turn it up ! I used to do it all the time - and everything was always burnt ! Keep it on Low ! That said - if it's windy be careful of the flame blowing out - always use a wind break !!!

Next we'll be cooking up oven chips lol
This is achievable, put your cookin oil in a spray bottle or use fry lite spray the chips while on the tray and cook on med .
just to warn all of you with a cadac,i recently purchased mine fron "riverway leisure" we had a 14 night holiday followed by a 5 night break and the cadac was used twice a day for about 80 minutes. After packing the cadac away after our hols we noticed the very bottom of the cadac (blue burner tray) was all burnt, paint peeling and bubbling and 1 of the legs had started to melt.
I rung "riverway leisure" asap who asked for e-mail pics. They contacted me within 48 hours to say they had passed it on to cadac who were more than happy to replace the burner tray free of charge.
As this happened to anyone else? Keep an eye on your cadacs.
