Yes we have the bamboo topped table, its very nice. We do use a table cloth, usually if we've ordered an indian as I dont want the top ruined by tumeric stains.
ETA - ah ,we dont have the vango one, thats nice but ours folds right up flat and has bamboo slats. I do love those storage items, thats the sort of thing Ive been looking for, nice and classic

Yes we used to do that, but need the box for storage, so everytime you needed something out of it, you need take the stuff off the top.
We have the faux leather ottoman thing at the end of the beds, this folds down flat, but for the side tables I got these

They are absolutely gorgeous and mean that on uneven ground things dont fall off even when the dog bumps into them. I then got some matching storage bag/box things that flatten which sit next to them. In the evening for some reason the tables go a lovely dark lime colour.
