I understand the concept of opinions and recommendations, I do. If your looking at a product, you seek views of others who may have used that product. It helps you in making a decision whether to purchase a product or not.
I'm a little concerned when recommendations are made which could cause both injury (tin foil and household cleaning product) and financial loss (buying a tin of Fabsil and soaking your guylines). I'm trying to add balance to the observations and conclusions you've made...nothing more.
Thankfully we live in a free society where one can choose what products we buy, the way we dress and the opinions we hold. You Fabsil your guy lines and cover your cool box in tin foil, I would not (unless more evidence is produced to confirm it works).
Mucker I have nothing but respect and admiration for you, honest (still think your weird though). I'm a little saddened that you won't be wearing a white coat, would have reminded me of the doctors and staff who look after me.
We'll my out of season job is going to be fabsil-ing the guys of the TT, awning, event shelter and windbreaks.
