Hi, Feel daft posting this, however here goes!! My husband recently went under a barrier whilst forgetting he had the roof box attached, which as npw left a hole in the lid of our box, the box itself though is in immaculate condition and so was wondering whether it is possible to buy a new lid from anywhere instead of a whole new box??

Hi

If it is only a hole it is possable to fibre glass it and then spray it.Just make sure you rub down the surrounding area well first.

lol thanks just had a look at it, it's really not that bad just scratched one of which as gone straight through but you have to push on it to tell rather than it being an obvious hole, however we have ordered our new one now, if anyone is seriously interested in buying i will send pics

Are you not covered on your car insurance??? After all it was attached to the car whilst it happened...you would then only have to pay the excess..
