I,m thinking of getting one of these Outwell 24 Litre thermo-electric cool box. Operates from 12v & 230v for a week long camping trip. Has anyone got one and do they work, i will be running it off mains power? I wll be storing things like beer, bacon, sausages and milk?
We are thinking of buying a Campingaz one which is the same thing. Our friends have one for keeping essentials in. It only keeps things cooler than the temperature around it , something like 6 degrees lower...it's not like a fridge. So they only keep things on there for a day or so. We are happy with that and can't stretch to a fridge yet.
Hi Muzzfuzz, as mentioned by sukhi these are not fridges and only chill a certain degree below the outside temperature. Will keep things ok for a day or so depending on the external temperature.
