we bought a double sleeping bag that can be unzipped to make 2 singles, so I dont see why not BUT they would have to be the same shape. I've been searching for a new sleeping back for the OH and noticed that some mummy style ones wont zip together

We have 2 mummy type bags that zip together.

You need to make sure that you get a right hand zip and a left hand zip so that they'll go together the right way for you.

The packaging told us the type of zips they are.

We have two Vango Astral bags, which can zip together. As has already been mentioned, make sure you ask for a left and a right hand zip.

We have a Lichfield Double Sleeping Bag. Great......

If you have two singles need to have right and left hand zips so I understand.

Yes, you just need one LH zip and one RH zip - but check with the dealer first, not all models will zip together - it depends on the shape.

A good one for general use is the SnugPak "The Sleeping Bag" Ideal for use in the UK and will zip together - you can pick them up for about £20 each.
