Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a coolbox that is powered by those small gas canisters that you put in portable stoves. Would it be viable or do the gas coolboxes use loads of gas. ??

Never heard of one but guess they use a fair bit of gas.

Never seen one that uses this type of gas cannister.

The gas consumption however is surprisingly low - even on the high setting they only use something like 14grams/hour.

We have run ours for a week on a campingaz cylinder (which powered the cooker as well) and still had some left.
