Hi.

Ok, i have had the fridge running off mains and gas and works ok, but im not sure if it should work better. The metal thing in the freezer section gets real cold with ice crystals forming on it how ever the coldness never seems to make its way into the main fridge area.

this weekend i left it on mains over night for around 12hrs and when i checked it as i said above, freezer section is cold and fridge part is just well not too cold and the apple juice in it to test was just well mildly cold.

so are they just not that good and dont get real cold, or should it be better. is there 2 cooling devices, 1 for freezer and 1 for fridge?

Any help would be great.

thanks

Hi

Have you got the outside vent covers removed, and is the fridge level? Anything over 6 degrees from level will alter the efficiency. Also check the door seal is in good condition

We had the same model and I was convinced ours wasn't working correctly.

I spoke to an engineer who said the easiest test was to freeze a cup of water, so I put some in the freezer and sure enough it was ice next day.

HTH

Paul
