Can anyone advise best place to purchase a mattress topper. Think one would make the bed more comfortable but the web sites I have viewed seem rather expensive.

I think the memory foam mattress toppers are brilliant, I always take mine camping.

Only thing I would recommend is that you get to actually feel the quality and density of the topper, especially if it's a memory foam one you want.  Argos do them fairly reasonable price but they were not thick enough for my liking.

We use a cheap 13.5 tog duvet as a mattress topper to iron out the joins between the cushions in the campervan... works a treat for us.

Depending on the size and thickness you want Iknow but ebay have loads on at quite reasonable prices
