I like www.continentalproduct.co.uk good for gas fittings and such. they do have stoves and equipment but no tents or anything.

ebay wise, im loyal to: www.stores.ebay.co.uk/gas-products-direct i think theyve got some of the cheapest but best quality camping gear on ebay.

I think Go Outdoors is definately worth a mention as I have had a couple of great buys from there recently.

I always use outdoor megastore and winfields who i have to say have the best customer service ever, when we ordered our tent and the poles were broken they not only repaired them but also sent us a spare set as well, i was very impressed.

also because i live in the highlands both these store do NOT add a silly surcharge for postage

We've been through the process of buying all our equipment after grabbing a bargain with our Coleman Matrix x9 for £199.

We found the following good buys all on ebay.

Coleman Fold N Go Cooker (rrp £130) for £60 with a free Coleman BlackCat Heater worth £70. From winwoodoutdoor.

Coleman Northstar Lantern Brand new for £30. 

Coleman Family Cookset for £14.99 from Wildday.

Coleman Comfort Double Airbeds with free pumps £25.99

We think we did well with a bit of scouting around, good hunting !

That northstar was a real bargain!! Theyre normally around £60-£70!!

The Northstar was in an auction from a wholesaler/retailer and I just happened to spot it with 2 minutes to go and no bids. The seller had put a starting price of £30 and no reserve, so I bid £30 and got it. On the feedback the seller commented on this with a big smiley face.

Most pleased though with the Coleman Fold & Go which was exactly what we wanted and the free heater was a huge bonus.

There are lots of bargains if you look for them whilst I've seen second hand goods auctioned for more than we paid for the same items.....new.

Moral of the story...........a bit of searching can save ££££££'s.
