Hi
Can someone give me some advice (new to the camping lark!). We've just bought a Campingaz 2 burner stove, they recommend that we use a 904 or 907 campingaz bottle. However, someone has given me a calor gas 4.5 kilo butane bottle, is it alright to use the 4.5 bottle and just buy the appropriate regulator etc?
Many thanks
Helen

Hi
Yes, I would think so. I use both a 907 and a 4.5kg Butane with my cooker (not at the same time!), obviuosly with the appropriate regulator in each case.
TT.

Hello Helen,
I can answer your question fully as I obtained a campingaz stove not 3 weeks ago.
I fitted a calor gas 4.5kg bottle to it with the correct regulator and it worked a treat!
Gas is gas at the end of the day and presumably campingaz would like all it's customers to remain loyal and use their gas. NOT NECESSARY!
If you want any other advice Helen don't hesitate!
Cheers,
Paul
