I have bought 3 from here . They are bright enough to be able to read with and the batteries lasted more than 30 hours.

Why are they going for a penny on ebay? have you used them yet? do they do what they claim they do?

i presume it is a marketing ploy and they make their profit from the p&p. All their stuff is 1p or 49p.

I find it a bit offputting (what's the catch?) and would probably be more impressed if they were 2.99 with free p&p. but it seems to work for them.

pickledegg69, Yes i have used them and they are bright enough to read with. I left one on in the living area of the tent for 4 nights (about 9 hours a night) and they were still working, although a little dimmer.

They took 5 days to arrive from Hong Kong.

i got a couple today from robert D (as i had the voucher).

they look brill although i will be taking one back as i can't open it to get at the batteries. At least i don't feel guilty not saving money by waiting for them from hong kong, as a replacement is easy to organise.

i am sure i was just unlucky though. I probably turned it the wrong way and jammed it

Well I got my light from Hong Kong, ordered on 28th May arrived 4th June.

Question please, for those who already have it:

The led bulbs on my light are multi coloured 2 x violet/purple, 4 bright white, others a pale green or a pale yellow.  TBH I was expecting all the bulbs to be the same brilliant white.  Whilst the other bulbs are coloured when they go on, they still give off a bright light.  Is this normal? just curious and can live with it.

Thanks Peter
