I am a returning to camping after many years so that my children (9-10) can enjoy.

After a lot of research we opter for the Outwell Minnesota 4. I thought it would be a good idea to try pitching it in my garden before using it next weekend.

It went up almost on its own (20 minuites) I was concerned to see rust on some of the poles though.

24 hours later, and a good deal of (bank holiday) rain it is leaking in several locations in apparently in one section of fabric.

I am bitterly dissapointed and wanted to know if anyone out there has experienced similar problems. Should I get it replaced or get another make?

There are one or two members with leaky outwells I think.

The 2006 models did have some issues with leaking etc.  As suggested above, do a search on the site and you will find all the threads!
