Hi,
I'm looking to buy 4 self inflating mats and like the look of the multimat 5cm thick ones-
Has anyone got a recommendation for these or other similar mats?
Regards,
Helen
Not heard of the Multimat but you will hear many recommendations here for the Fat Airic and indeed I have one. They are 7cm thick and very comfy which is all you can ask.

Airics are a good value option, our kids are on the basic ones, and they're pretty comfortable even for an adult. A bit slippery with synthetic sleeping bags is the only issue, but that's probably an issue with most mats: I made sort of pillowcase covers for them. We also have the fabulous thermarests with the fleecy tops, which are ace if you're tall and want to camp with the equivalent of a proper double bed. We use those as last resort spare beds at home too, to justify their (considerable) price!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
