My DAX 157 with lockable hardtop has hitchlock, brass cylinder lock, wheel clamp, heavy duty dog anchor with heavy duty motorcycle chain and padlock wrapped tightly around the axle on every site we stay! The more visible deterrants you can see the greater the probability you have stopped that opportunist thief ! Because they are out there. Also use brass padlocks on the hardtop locking latches. Still can not understand why erde/daxara do not sell locking wheelnuts for these 13 inch wheels. Yes I have tried with various suppliers---only option left is with motor factors who at the moment only seem to sell locking studs and not nuts. Until such time, the spare wheel gets removed once we have pitched. What price for security and peace of mind?
