Been looking for bags for my kids as my eldest who is like me found it a bit chilly in his pjs, then tracksuit in a readybed with 4 layers of fleecey blankets before he slept ok so I think he needs a nice snuggly bag. We have a 3 season one - but I can't seem to work out what makes it 3 season in terms of the g/m2 I am assuming the higher the better - I have seen a kids one at 400g/m2 so would that qualify - they either say that or a tog rating...so I am coming down to buying an adult 3 season one and tucking him in well! Any thoughts?
We have a 300gm for the kids. They are adult size bags as I thought they would last. When we went away we put a fleece sleep sack inside the bag as well as a fleece blanket underneath, ontop of the mattress. It seemed to work as they did not complain about being cold. Hope that helps!
Thanks - hadn't thought about putting stuff underneath too - will try that next time and look at the liners.
Also just found something a bit useful
