I'm thinking of buying a Fat Airic. We already have a Coleman Comfort Double but as we have a new tunnel tent, I would prefer to have one of us with the kids.
I only really want one but there's currently £10 off when you buy two Fat Airics so tempted to get two as a back-up option instead of taking the airbed at all but worried that may get them and not like them!
I can't find any on ebay. Does anyone know what the re-sell price for them is like on ebay?
We waited and waited for some to come up on E-bay but none have come up for months. So in the end we went for it, and brought them from Alpkit, they are brilliant well worth the money, you could be waiting a long time for some to come up on E-bay, as they are so good no one will part with them.
Are you thinking about buying 2 from Alpkit to take advantage of the offer, then selling the spare on Ebay? You might get a good price. Airic are well thought of, and as Mat says, they don't often come up for auction. Also, yours would be new. But if you're going to do it, probably best to do it now, because the season is already under way, and people will be buying kit. Or else keep the spare until next year, and sell it in the Spring.
