Firstly, what a great site! I've found this website so helpful having recently decided to get back into camping. (just hope the children will like it as much as me and the other half do)

We have recently ordered the Norfolk Lake and are now trying to buy the necessary accessories. I had been advised that you should use a footprint when camping, but have recently read that with the Norfolk lake it is not necessary. Are the any thoughts/recommendations from NL owners?

Thanks very much, Steve

People use a footprint under there tent to save the sig or groundsheet from getting dirty as it's easier to clean the footprint. Some people will say yeah buy one some will say not to. You'll get good advice either way.

we've always managed without one. if the groundsheet gets dirty, all you need to do is scrub it!
