Has anybody got one of these and are they worth the money? I know I could pay less for one but I want it to last a few trips.

I was cheap, looked at that one and the plastic one.... and bought the plastic version for 17.99...
that said it has done 3 trips last year, been used in the garden and is already packed in the trailer for this summers outings.

The plastic ones made now seem to be much more flimsy, we have an old one about 10years old still going strong. Bought a newer plastic one last year gave it away when we sold TT. Is there anywhere local to you that sells them so that you can try them out ------------- Watermouth Cove - Easter

Dont have either but wouldnt go near a plastic one ever again! Was invited to a bbq by a friend only to find that his wife's friends were - lets just say they were more garden party than bbq types. I sat on one of the little seats on the plastic variety only to feel it collapsing very slowly under me, resulting in me being dumped on my dignity. And I hadnt even been drinking. Our usual group of friends would have laughed it off and all would have been well. These people were just too polite and it made me feel soooo stupid! Vowed never to go near the plastic version again ------------- We dont stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.

I bought one of these early this year and its really fab. Slightly bigger table top and bigger seats than the plastic ones. They are alot sturdier as well and you can sit four adults on one without worrying its going to collapse!
Well worth the extra money you will not regret it

Hi
We have an aluminium folding picnic table made by Outwell Easycamp. Only used for on our first camping trip for 4 days, it is very study. That also looks a good price. Last year we paid £59 from Go outdoors.
------------- So there it is

We have had both types and the aluminium one is definitely superior in quality and strength.
Now prefer an adjustable leg table and separate chairs, which fold up small. Horses for courses, and all that.
