Thanks wildie ![[:o)]](https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/forum_images/smiley20.gif)
I'll try again.
At the moment I am using a basic fairly low powered car battery charger which seems to do the job reasonably well. Trouble is I have to manually switch it from full to trickle power after a couple of hours. In view of the fact that I am now using a mover I have decided I need a better charger to get the best out of my battery. However, at the moment I have just entered "tight git" mode. Having spent some serious dosh on the caravan in the last couple of months or so I do not want to spend 60 plus quid on a top of the range charger, unless I have to. Knowing very little about battery chargers I optimistically wondered if despite what it says on the Argos description (which funnily enough I had read) this charger, especially being automatic, would still be able to charge up a 85ah battery. It may well be that I should only buy a battery that says it can charge leisure batteries. I look to my fellow caravanning colleagues on "UKcampsite" to put me right, and make me a wiser man. Better still, someone may suggest some alternative chargers that will keep my battery and my wallet happy.
Cheers!!!
